Dr. Nutting has successfully treated over 1,000 patients from all across the United States through prostate embolization. He currently trains other physicians in the PAE procedure and was fortunate to receive training from luminaries of prostate embolization in Brazil and Portugal. Additionally, Dr. Nutting frequently lectures at conferences about PAE and has published research and articles on this topic.
Dr. Nutting has performed over 10,000 liver embolizations in his career making him one of the leaders in the field. As part of an interdisciplinary team, he participates in clinical trials and publishes data with other physicians around the world. He was the first physician to deliver Sirsphere radioactive microspheres in the United States in 2003.
Dr. Nutting treats arthritic knee pain for patients who are not ready or are trying to avoid a total knee replacement. Called a Genicular Embolization, Dr. Nutting is leading the advancement of this exciting and minimally-invasive treatment as a principal investigator in a worldwide trial to treat 1000 patients over the next number of years.

Dr. Nutting is a world renowned interventional radiologist practicing in Denver for the last 2 decades. He trained at Chicago Osteopathic Medical School in Radiology and completed a fellowship in Interventional Radiology at RUSH Presbyterian Medical Center in 1998. Dr. Nutting earned his Fellowship in the Society of Interventional Radiology, an honor bestowed on less than 10% of doctors in his specialty.
